what is color?
color is to convey our emotions, express personality, sends messages.

12.11.2014(week 2)

                                                                            Colour Wheel
A colour wheel or colour circle is an abstract illustrative organization of colour hues around a circle that shows relationships between primary colour, secondary colours, tertiary colours. As an illustrative model, artists typically use red, yellow, and blue primaries (RYB colour model)arranged at three equally spaced points around colour wheel.
RGB(red,green,blue)
RGV(red.green,violet)

Primary colours
There are three primary colours. They are the hues yellow, blue, and red. These three colours are the hues that in theory can be mixed to make all other colours. If you mix the three primary colours,in theory it would produce black.

Secondary colours
By mixing two primary hues together you create a secondary colour. There are three secondary colours. They are the hues green, violet, and orange.Orange from mixing red and yellow, violet from blue and red,and green from yellow and blue.

Tertiary colours
The third set of hues are known as tertiary or intermediate colours. These hues are made by mixing adjacent primary and secondary hues. The six tertiary or intermediate colours are yellow-green,blue-green,blue-violet,red-violet,red-orange,and yellow-orange.

19.11.2014(week 3)

                                                         Colour Temperature(Warm colour)
Warm colour are made with orange ,red, yellow and combinations of them all.As the name indicates, they tend to make you think of sunlight and heat.Warm colours look as though they come closer,or advance.
                                                          Colour Temperature(Cold colour)
All the so-called cold colours have blue in them. The usual rule is that the more blue, the colder the colour;the more red or,to a lesser extent, yellow, the warmer.(So orange is a very warm colour)
Cold colour present at the blue end or green of the spectrum signify a cool atmosphere.Green is a cold colour, especially the bluish greens such as turquise and sea green;very yellowish greens, like lime, are warmer.Purple are more tricky because they are a mixture of the hottest and the coldest primary colour. The more blue, the colder colour;so mauve and violet are cold;white crimson, which has only a hint of blue,is hot.

26.11.2014(week 4)
The value is a measurement of the brightness of a colour. The brighter a colour is,the higher is its value and the more light it emits. For instance,a vivid yellow is brighter than dark blue, therefore its value is higher than that of the blue.

These are terms to describe how a colour varies from its original hue.If white is added, the lighter version of the colour is called a tint of the colour. On the other hand,if black is added, darked version of the colour is called a shade of the colour.

3.12.2014(week5)
The split complementary(also called Compound Harmony)colour scheme is a variation of the complementary colour scheme.A Split Complementary Colour Scheme is made up of three hues.First choose your main starting colour and select the two colours on either side of its Complementary colour. No matter where you start, there will always be at least one Tertiary colour in your selection.Tertiary colours are blends and will make your resulting palette quite sophisticated with an infinite number of subtle mixture.

Colour Harmony can be suggested that"Colours seen together to produce a pleasing affective response are said to be in harmony".Colour harmony is a complex notion because human responses to colour are both affective and cognitive, involving emotional response and judgement.

10.12.2014(week 6)
This is my human potrail.I start this assignment with the picture that i search in the internet. Then i use adobe illustrator to trace the outline and i change the colour into fully red in difference tone. After that I use Buncho water colour,I only using red and mix with white colour and black colour to make different tone in red colour.

17.12.2014(week 7)
This is my first design for the haute couture fashion.I choose haute couture fashion because i like this type fashion design a lot.I also search some info of haute couture from internet.Haute couture is ''high sewing'',''high dressmaking'' or ''high fashion'' refers for the creation of exclusive custom-fitted clothing.Haute couture is made from high quality with extreme attention to detail and finished by most experienced and capable seamstresses, often using time-consuming,hand-executed techniques.Couture translate from French as ''dressmaking'',but also refer to fashion, sewing, needlework.Haute translate literally to''high''.

I measure my waistline for my haute couture fashion design. And I use the needle tie it first then I sew it.I also do the shape and sew it.

This is the back view of this haute couture fashion.I cut it down the flower from some old clothes and sew on it.

I also cut this from the recycle clothes and use the needlework to tie it on my finger.

The chain of on this dress also is I find from recycle clothes then I sew on it as accessories. From here can see the outcome fashion is difference with my drawing.Because the recycle cloth of I can find is only about 2meter then I try to fold it made it have some shape then sew them and find some accessories to decorate this dress. This will be my final assignment for the color study subject. The theme for fashion design I choose is haute couture fashion.

This is only using about 2 meter cloth made it.
